Navy SEAL Warren West finds Clarissa locked in the lounge. Soon they’re on the run because she missed her injection and shuttle, which lands her on the militia’s watch list. The heirloom herbs she grows in her bedroom will mark her a terrorist on Benjamin Innovative Genetics Corporation’s most wanted list if they’re discovered.

“Where to start, overall this was a cute short story. But, it was just that short. I felt that the story could've been developed more and we could've learned more about the characters and what brought them together. Not just meet, run from government, fall in love. I did like the story I just wish it had been longer.”

oh, this could have been so good, but, for me, it fell far short.
A modified onion, a vaccine, and a runaway belly dancer! There is a good plot here, it just needs more. More fleshing out, more information, just more, MORE MORE!
I'm left with so many unanswered questions.
WHO modified the vegetable, and WHY?
WHAT do they want from people??
WHATS the point of the "vaccine"?
and most importantly, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???? It just ended, with Cyree and Warren riding off to the beach on a Harley! Not a bad way to end, but ...ARGH!!
HOWEVER
what is here is well written and I didn't spot any editing errors. Its written from both Cyree and Warren's POV so thats good.
I wanted to love it, I really did.
