Welcome to Three Creek Ranch, home of the James family for over a hundred years, complete with its own Western movie set. “Another 5 star read from Carolyn Miller. We met Cassie and her family in Fire and Ice, and there was plenty of appearance of other characters from previous books. Cassie was really easy for me to connect with as we see her joy in her work and her frustration with people. Harrison was a fabulous character as escapades brought a lot of life to this story. A Cameo For a Cowgirl really set up the next couple of books in both the Northwest Ice and Three Creek Ranch Series, and I'm particularly looking forward to reading Ainsley's story.”

“I absolutely love the way that Carolyn Miller writes. She weaves so much emotion and faith into her stories and it is no exception with this new series. We meet Cassie James who is a ranch that has a huge heart for God. She gets more than she bargains for when a Hollywood production company comes into town. Here we meet Harrison Woods. Oh man the banter between these two was perfection. I loved how the characters were real and you could relate with their struggles and rejoice in their happiness. You felt like you were one with the story. Every word really captured who God wants us to be and when in need He is the one we must turn to. He will wrap us in his arms and completely feel loved. I'm not going to tell you too much because you really need to experience this story but know that it was deep and lovely. I can't wait to read the next installment of this story! I received a copy of this book for review. I was not required to post a positive review. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.”

“A Cameo for a Cowgirl by Carolyn Miller is the first book in her new series Three Creek Ranch. Cassie James helps run the movie set on her family’s ranch. The abandoned set has been a part of the family ranch for over 100 years. She is currently working with a TV series that includes actor Harrison Woods. How is she going to put up with him for the time he is working at the ranch? I delighted in getting to know all of the characters on Three Creek Ranch. Cassie is spunky, brave, and so talented. Her heart was soft and open making her so relatable. Harrison was reflective, willing to change, and very likable. A hero I enjoyed rooting for. The author has a fabulous way of sharing the characters faith struggles and victories. I felt like my faith was strengthened after reading the story. The setting of the abandoned western town on the ranch was so fascinating, and enhanced the book. In A Cameo for a Cowgirl the banter was fantastic, the romance delightful, and I was very invested in the characters. I enjoyed this character driven story so much! I am looking forward to the next book in this series, and getting to know everyone better! I highly recommend! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.”
