2 novels for the price of one is always a good deal & I bought my copy for an additional 30% off at Market Basket.
I had NO CLUE this would be the book to get me out of my reading slump.

A BEACH HOUSE BEGINNING — this book reminded me a lot of Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks in some ways.
I really enjoyed the characters & their respective dynamics. I thought it was really sweet how they handled their attraction, but I was disappointed with how it ended. I was hoping Wes would propose to Jenna but he didn’t & that made me a bit sad, but not sad enough to rate the book any lower than 5 stars.
Since Jenna and Wes both came into the relationship as single parents with younger daughters, the romance is not necessarily spicy which is probably perfect for some readers.

This one took me by surprise. It had such an awkward start & I felt like I had been introduced to the characters so poorly but then it grew on me & was SO addictive!!
Eden meets her match in Mason & WOW do I love their love!
Every single page is so full of redemption & healing for them both and their families which is just so beautiful.
This one is definitely more spicy than the other one & Mason did actually propose to Eden by the end which satisfied me 😂 10/10 would read this one again!”

“A Beach House Beginning by RaeAnne Thayne was a very quick beach read. Jenna lost her husband four years ago and Wes was just released from prison after being wrongly accused . Wes is now totally exonerated of all charges. They both live in Brambleberry house and both are single parents.
This is a cute and quick story that can be read in one sitting.
