“The Misadventures of Thonir was a fast paced, action filled YA fantasy that I really enjoyed! We follow Thonir through his teens and young adulthood as he faces obstacle after obstacle. The story is well written and I especially enjoyed the blurb at the beginning of each chapter that teaches us or tells us about an aspect of life and setting of that chapter. I really appreciated the magic aspects, pirates and all the different settings of this tale. My only problem with this story is that I wish it would have continued or went on to a second book. The ending was a little abrupt and I felt could have been expanded or better yet just give us another book! I would recommend this book to any age person that enjoys YA fantasy!”W.A. Stanley
