Picture this: it’s late November, you can start to smell snow in the air, and you’re walking by the sea at a beautiful beach. No one is there, just you, the ocean, and the stars. You’re bundled up in a cozy sweater, with a mug of cocoa or hot cider, listening to the waves crash against the shore. The freezing water hits your feet and seeps through your shoes, sending a shiver up your spine…Aannnnd okay, that’s about as far as I can conjure up. Anyways, these books are EXACTLY what I would recommend to evoke that vibe. Listen, I love the beach in the summer… only when it’s the evening and it’s cold out. So, in other words, I hate the heat. That said, I much prefer the beach in the early months of winter. There’s something about it that’s so peaceful to me. So, here are some books set by the sea I think are worth your time! Obviously, not all of them will feel cozy like a thick sweater and a cup of cocoa, but still… they’ll evoke a similar vibe to what I described.
