What Sabaa Tahir books have you read?

On October 1st, a new installment of the beloved “An Ember in the Ashes” series by Sabaa Tahir was released! “Heir”, which takes place 20 years after the end of the original series, is a start to a brand new duology set in the same brutal, sweeping world. It follows the intertwined lives of Aiz, an orphan seeking vengeance, Sirsha, a banished tracker trying to do her job, and Quil, the reluctant heir to the empire. Their paths converge as they deal with the consequences of greed and corruption and grapple with love and power. The original series is a quartet that starts with “An Ember in the Ashes”, which takes place in a fantasy world inspired by Ancient Rome and follows a girl who must spy for rebels in a dangerous empire in exchange for their help in rescuing her captive brother. It also follows another point of view from one of the training soldiers of the empire who is struggling with liberating himself from their tyrannical regime. It’s not required to read the first “Ember” series before reading “Heir”, but it is recommended since this new duology takes place after the events of “Ember” and features familiar characters from that series. “Heir” will spoil major parts of “An Ember in the Ashes”, so if there’s any chance you might want to read that series, definitely start from the beginning and then pick up the new series.Book 1: “An Ember in the AshesBook 2: “A Torch Against the NightBook 3: “A Reaper at the GatesBook 4: “A Sky Beyond the StormBook 1 of the new series: “Heir
