“Lovelight Farms” by B.K Borrison

Fake dating his best friend might be the best Christmas present he’s ever received.
“The Christmas Swap” by Talia Samuels
Margot Murray is a newly single, successful businesswoman with no interest in a cutesy seasonal romance after her breakup with her long-term girlfriend. Ben Gibson is an unlucky-in-love sweetheart in need of a woman to bring home for the holidays. Together, they make a pact: Margot gets two blissful weeks away from London in a picture-perfect manor, and Ben gets a fake girlfriend for his holiday at home with his family.
“The Holiday Switch” by Tif Marcelo
Lila Santos is ready for her last winter break of high school. The snow in her small town of Holly, New York, is plentiful, the mood is as cozy as a fuzzy Christmas sweater, and she's earning extra cash working at the local inn—AKA the setting of the greatest film of all time, “Holiday by the Lake”—while moonlighting as an anonymous book blogger. But her perfect holiday plans crash to a halt when her boss's frustratingly cute nephew, Teddy Rivera, becomes her coworker.
“Set the Record Straight” by Hannah Bonam-Young
Two old friends make a plan to get through the gallery opening and holiday party by pretending to date one another. Easy... right? That is until Clara starts developing real feelings for Evan, shocking herself. All the while Evan realizes that perhaps pretending to date your straight best friend, who you've had a crush on for half your life, isn't the best idea.
“Kiss Her Once For Me” by Alison Cochrun
One year ago, recent Portland transplant Ellie Oliver had her dream job in animation and a Christmas Eve meet-cute with a woman at a bookstore that led her to fall in love over the course of a single night. But after a betrayal the next morning and the loss of her job soon after, she finds herself adrift, alone, and desperate for money. Now, Ellie must choose between the safety of a fake relationship and the risk of something real. The Holiday Book Showdown is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of holiday magic and the joy of reading.
