Diversify your Want To Read list this month with one of our new reading challenges! While there are plenty of reading-focused activities this month, these challenges also celebrate how reading encourages us to be more empathetic and creative in our own lives. If you accomplish one or more of these literary feats, you can add the September Reading Challenge badge to next month’s Reading Wrap. We operate on the honor system with our reading challenges, so there's no button to push or form to fill out. Remember, these challenges are just for fun, so don't feel any pressure to participate!1. Read a book by a Latinx author for Hispanic Heritage Month (starts September 15)2. Write a letter and mail it to a friend sometime this month to celebrate World Letter Writing Day (September 1).3. Read a book with female friendship at the heart of the story for National Women’s Friendship Day (September 19).4. Reach out to a friend or family member and ask them how they are doing for R U OK Day, an annual reminder that checking in with the people we care about is important. (September 11).5. Read a fantasy novel to celebrate Hobbit Day (September 22).6. Write down one story about your family for National Family Day (September 26).What reading challenges should we feature next month? Let us know in the Fable app!
