Last month, Fable readers from around the globe attempted our reading challenges, earning badges for their monthly Reading Wrap. For June, we’ve created a few more fun reading challenges.
Challenge One: Read a book by a LGBTQ+ author (Pride Month)
Challenge Two: Read any book with your best friend (National Best Friends Day, June 8)
Challenge Three: Read a book about the African-American experience (Juneteenth, June 19)
It’s so important to remember that we should be reading books by LGBTQ+ and Black authors all year round, not just once a year. We created these challenges as a fun way to engage with these annual celebrations. If you complete any (or all) of these challenges, you can add our June completion sticker to next month’s Reading Wrap! Personally, I’m rereading “Caste” by Isabel Wilkerson this month for Challenge Three. What reading challenges should we feature next month? Let us know in the Fable app!
