Netflix’s adaptation of The Kissing Booth returns this month, a bit of summer romance to round out the season. Inspired by Beth Reekles' bestselling novel, the show was “one of the most-watched movies in the country, and maybe in the world,” according to Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos. The story began two seasons ago when Elle decides to run a kissing booth at her school's Spring Carnival. After a stolen kiss with her friend Noah, her life is turned upside down. Her head says to keep away, but her heart wants to draw closer.
