National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) has officially begun! Each year, the organization hosts an annual creative writing event in which participants attempt to write 50,000 words, or a full manuscript during the month of November. Many people, however, are choosing to part ways with the organization and find new communities to write with. Writers all around prepare to write in November, even if it's not for the program. If you do not wish to participate with the official NaNoWriMo organization, there is space for you here on Fable with my weekly writing party!I will be checking in every Friday this month to talk about writing, whether it's about writing advice, craft book recommendations, or tips on getting your daily word count done. For today, I’d love to know if you will be participating in writing a novel this month and what you’re going to be working on. Let’s build our own writing community on Fable, where you can come for advice, accountability partners, and craft tips. Tell me about your work in progress on the Fable home feed and what your goal for this month is! Maybe you’ll find some new writing buddies.
