September 4th is National Wildlife Day! As always, here is a bit of background info on this special day before we hop into some book recommendations:
“Every year on September 4th, National Wildlife Day is observed to raise awareness about the value of protecting endangered species worldwide and conserving wildlife. This commemoration becomes even more important in 2024 as environmental problems worsen and jeopardize the fragile ecosystems that support life on Earth. National Wildlife Day, is an opportunity for us to safeguard the variety of species that share our planet with us and to make sure that coming generations can take pleasure in the wonders and advantages of a healthy natural ecosystem.”
