Dear Fable community, 👋🏽 Padmasree Warrior here, founder and CEO of Fable.As you may know, books have occupied a special place in my heart ever since I was a child. The stories I read inspired me to move to another country and build a career in the male-dominated tech industry. When I discovered science-based research papers showing that reading is digital nutrition, I decided to quit my job as CTO at a Fortune 100 company to start Fable. From the very beginning, Fable has been a tech company with the soul of an artist — built by a team of passionate readers, writers, technologists, and creators who believe that books are not just “content to consume”, but experiences that shape our identities and who we become. Thanks to you, we’ve built something truly special. As a challenger in a space dominated by tech giants, we’ve proved that a beautiful, non-toxic, social reading experience is not only possible, but also much needed. TravisWith your help, we built something that needed to be built.
