On April 2nd, the world celebrated International Children's Book Day, an annual event sponsored by the International Board on Books for Young People. Founded in 1967, the day aims to promote international understanding through children’s books and advocate for better access to literature for children.

On a day meant to inspire people to read and shine light on children’s books, here are some of the most beloved children’s books!“The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats became famous for the way it perfectly captures the magic and a child’s wonder at a new world on a snow day.“Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown is a classic of children’s literature, displaying quiet poetry with lullaby-like illustrations for a perfect end-of-day book.“Charlotte’s Web” by E. B. White is one of America’s top 100 most-beloved books.
