What is BookTube?
BookTube is a tight knit community on YouTube sharing their love for their favorite books and bringing attention to underrepresented authors. The BookTube hashtag counts more than 61,000 videos and thousands of creators. An article in the Daily Campus explained why this community matters:“[BookTube] serves as an outlet for conversation, a sense of mutual understanding and appreciation for literature that most readers struggle to find with the people in their day-to-day lives ... It’s nice to know there are people like you out there.”

On YouTube, readers can search for any genre, any age range, any tropes that they are interested in reading about. With personalized recommendations in mind, BookTubers create hundreds of videos to get their audience excited to read. They stay up to date with new releases and post videos sharing their own reactions and opinions on the books they read. Here are some recent YouTube and BookTube favorites!type: embedded-entry-inline id: 2w5V2Fuxll44Kr4HYBeHGZFind more great BookTube book recommendations on Fable!
