William Wallace Denslow (1856-1915) was an American illustrator and caricaturist. He is most famous for a number of one notable, classic nursery rhymes and stories.He also drew the illustrations for 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' (1900), which as everyone knows was written by L.
