Bio
Homeschool Survivor is my story of homeschool, my story of being forced to navigate a series of domestic and institutional failures. With an abusive mother and an absent father, I began my days in an environment equipped only to produce the same destruction in which I was born. Ravaged with mental illness and prescription drug addiction, my mother provided little in the way of education and instead focused on doomsday prepping, firearms training, and needless animal hoarding. This was a true doomsday mission. One which, in light of her relentless, yet somewhat charming demeanor, often went unnoticed by those responsible for protecting children in the hands of undeserving and unfit guardians. After escaping from this nightmare, I found myself nothing but alone and afraid, having never had a role model, an education, or a fair chance at life I turned to the same life of substance abuse which I had been raised to recognize as normal. Soon realizing the destruction which accompanies this unforgiving journey, I found refuge through meditation and music. Now wishing to reshape my destiny, I detail a true story of the reality of homeschooling and provide valuable advice to those in a position similar to what mine was.TBD Books
