Sara Mitchell, one of the earliest writers in the inspirational market, is the author of sixteen inspirational novels. Her historical novel VIRGINIA AUTUMN was a 2003 Christy finalist and winner of the 2003 Maggie Award for Best Inspirational Romance; LEGACY OF SECRETS won the 2008 RT Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Love Inspired Historical.
