Robert M. Calhoon is an adjunct professor of history at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Calhoon is the author of numerous books, including The Loyalists in Revolutionary America, 1760–1781; Evangelicals and Conservatives in the Early South, 1740–1861; and Political Moderation in America's First Two Centuries.Robert C.
