Bio
James was born in Santa Barbara, California in 1947. A few years later, he and his family moved to the dryer climate of the San Joaquin Valley. He grew, went to school and started his own family in and around Bakersfield, Ca. He and his wife Nancy, have raised their six children there and with 5 grandchildren, are looking forward to traveling and exploring this wonderful country.
A detail about James and his writing is that he never enjoyed reading or writing until he wore his first pair of glasses at the age of 28.James O'Brien Books
