Charles Welch was born in Monroe, Michigan and raised up in Flat Rock, Michigan. After graduating from school he joined the United States Army and stayed in the Army over ten years before being offered a job as Police Officer in Tampa, Florida. After a few years with the Tampa Police Department he moved to Washington State where he worked in the jail as a Corrections Officer and a Field Training Officer in Seattle, Washington. While in the Army, Charles was promoted to Sergeant and selected to become a Army Recruiter where he served in the Philadelphia District Recruiting Command for three years. Upon completion of his recruiting duty, he then was selected to become an Instructor at the Military Police School at Fort McClellan, Alabama teaching Unarmed Self Defense and Rear Area Combat Operations. He now just works part time for a Private Security Company responsible for the safety of abused and neglected children. Charles is currently single and living in Washington State. He enjoys outdoors sports not on as a spectator but also a participant and of course he enjoys writing in his free time.Charles Welch Books
