Bryan Smith is a retired elementary school teacher. His career includes over 30 years in the classroom, most of them in the Fresno Unified School District. He now lives with his wife Florence in the Sierra foothills, where he enjoys golf and geology. He has published another book about the Sierra foothills, featuring the geological history of Yosemite Lakes Park in California.
